This Christmas, prepare for a halftime spectacle unlike any other as Netflix redefines holiday entertainment with a star-studded performance. On December 25, live from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the renowned Snoop Dogg will headline Snoop's Holiday Halftime Party during the highly anticipated NFL Christmas Gameday. The matchup features the Minnesota Vikings going head-to-head against the Detroit Lions, but all eyes will undoubtedly be on the legendary rapper when halftime rolls around.
Snoop Dogg is set to deliver an unforgettable show filled with his biggest hits, holiday cheer, and surprise guest appearances that promise to elevate the festive spirit.
In his own words, Snoop Dogg expressed his excitement: "NFL, Netflix, and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day? We're servin' up music, love, and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy. That's the kind of holiday magic Santa can't fit in a bag."
Bela Bajaria, Netflix's Chief Content Officer, echoed this enthusiasm, stating: "Christmas Gameday just got a whole lot cooler. We’re bringing together two cultural powerhouses, the NFL and the one and only Snoop Dogg, for what will be the hottest halftime show ever. As a West Coast girl and a huge fan myself, I can confidently say this is the ultimate gift we could give our members. We’re ready to drop it like it’s hot this holiday season!"
To spread the word about this exciting event, Netflix has unveiled an announcement video narrated by the legendary funk artist George Clinton. Be sure to tune in for Snoop Dogg’s live performance at halftime, exclusively on Netflix. This Christmas, the celebration is happening in Minnesota—and everyone is invited to join the fun.
The NFL Christmas Gameday returns to Netflix this year with two thrilling matchups showcasing fierce NFC rivals. The Cowboys will take on the Commanders at 1 PM ET from Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, followed by the Lions facing off against the Vikings at 4:30 PM ET from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Coverage leading up to the games kicks off at 11 AM ET.
Last year marked Netflix’s inaugural Christmas Gameday, featuring international superstar Beyoncé performing during the Ravens-Texans game, famously dubbed the four-time Emmy-nominated Beyoncé Bowl. This year's Snoop's Holiday Halftime Party is being produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment. Moreover, the Christmas Day games will be broadcast on CBS affiliates within the cities of the competing teams and will also be accessible on U.S. mobile devices via NFL+. CBS Sports will take charge of producing the games, while NFL Media will handle the pregame, postgame, and halftime programming. EverWonder Studio will serve as the executive producer for NFL Christmas Gameday.
Continuing the festive tradition initiated in 2024, each team participating in the Christmas Day games will don a special holiday-themed patch on their uniforms, visible during both their Week 16 and Christmas Day contests. This patch features the NFL shield, beautifully adorned with two candy canes, embodying the spirit of the holiday season.
